That’s total conjecture. Maybe they’re being infected by asymptomatic children that they’re forced to congregate with in a filthy unventilated room for 35 hours a week. It is beyond offensive that parents are angry and judgmental toward people who are risking their lives to work with their children “because this is killing our kids” as if children should be somehow isolated from this global suffering by the sacrifice of non-familial adults. Teachers in districts where schools are closed: push for them to stay that way. These parents won’t support you even after schools open, and will continue to push the narrative that you are destroying their children. These parents do not care about your safety, health, or family. Look out for yourself and YOUR children above all. You are replaceable at work.
No children. Clearly.

One case since then (a child). Zero cases among teachers or staff. Masks and social distancing in the classroom (still 18-20 per class...our school has huge classrooms..one of the reasons they were able to go back full time). 80% are learning in person, 20% distance learning. The distance learners have their own teacher (so teachers are not teaching both online and in person). It’s just one school and certainly isn’t indicative of anything, but it has been going very well for us. As of now, they intend to resume school as normal after winter break.
Do they test regularly?
