I agree that the shade of blonde makes a big difference. I've also known some women who bleached their hair for years upon years and ended up with straggly strands of straw. Fried hair is not attractive. Since going from dark to light strips color you really do have to be careful if you are a natural dark brunette and want to go to a very light blonde shade.

Yes, and blonde hair just makes a person look younger, so that is part of the attraction also.

Man here, blond hair grabs the male eye from a distance. Sort of like a shiny object. If she's hot it's a bonus but it definitely is an attention grabber. Probably evolutionary since blond is usually youthful

I agree! I’ve had it all from very long to very short- shaved basically. I have thick straight great hair, it’s been so much fun to play with over the years. Its been short for a few years and I can tell you men like it just fine as I’ve aged I’ve learned what looks good on me - as I’ve gotten older brighter highlights around my eyes and some playful hair that is well suited to my facial structure/angels is more attractive on me that long thick straight. I’ve aged pretty well but I’m still a 45 year old woman- looooong hair and no bangs is too severe of a look for most women’s faces at our ages- just my opinion of course.

This doesn’t surprise me at all. Kind of like tall people are automatically assumed to be more intelligent or knowledgeable because the height alone projects confidence usually associated with the attributes. There are deeply embedded stereotypes and unconscious bias we all have in one form or another.
