I think the stunts were just to get famous and into Trump's maga orbit. He was a backbencher nobody from panhandle Florida -- gotta do something. I wonder what his long-game is. Does he stay in politics for decades or is he hoping to segue into TV?
He comes from a political family. I think he's in this for the long haul. And actually I think he plays his hand pretty cleverly, much as I hate these stunts (and much as I hate the Trumps).
