This is weird to me...none of my friends, relatives, co workers have ever discussed when the first time they had sex w their spouse was so a) how do you know this info and b) how do so many other people know this info such that the women in the couples can be judged harshly?

+1. Except we were both married to other people. We both agreed to leave our spouses and are now married to each other.
How romantic![]()
Good luck after he meets the next married him in a bar when he’s tired of you...

DH and I (he was 36 and I was 28) met at a wedding and ended up talking all night. We made love as the sun rose. We were an immediate couple for a year before we got married and have been very happily married for nearly 14 years.
Anyone else like us?
My SIL tells this story with almost the same exact details... right down to the "making love as the sun rose".
When in reality, they were both shitfaced, they went back to our room because he was staying with us and were so sloppy drunk, we found a trail of their alcohol (like Gretel leaving breadcrumbs) from the ballroom directly to our hotel room. We walk in and they are both passed out naked & he's still on top of her -- when my husband tried to wake them up (gently, mind you) she got straight up belligerent and accidentally punched my BIL in the mouth, but was aiming for my DH, lol.
He never asked for her number, never called her, chalked it up to a one night stand. She invited herself to move in with a friend of hers who lived in the same town as us/him (they immediately regretted it) and basically stalked him until he broke down and went out with her.
That was it, he was done. She's a massive control freak and he's lazy, so it was easy to manipulate him. They seem miserable to everyone who sees them and have a kid.
Whenever anyone asks how they met, she launches into this ridiculous fantasy and leaves out every single detail of the truth.
I've never once brought up what truly happened, because I figured if she's making stuff up to make it sound better, she's probably embarrassed and I don't want that for her.
I just realized this the first time I've ever told anyone else about what happened that night, as it's not my story to tell.
Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with sex on the first date -- if the chemistry is insatiable and you're really into each other, then go for it... be happy!
It's obvious by the number of people on here who have done it and have happy, successful, loving marriages, that maybe sex on the first date/first time seeing each other in person SHOULD be the norm and not something to be embarrassed or keep on the DL about.
