Also, homegoing. It is a few years old by Yaa Gyasi. She has a new novel out now, transcendent kingdom, which I have not read yet. But homegoing is simply phenomenal. It is heavy but so, so good.

Beyond the Beautiful Forevers

It is non-fiction, but reads like fiction.

Amazing that the author got the access she did.

Very brave of her and thought-provoking for the reader!

I am reading 28 Summers now, and loving it--I really don't want it to end. I pretty much enjoy all of Elin Hildebrand's books, so you could keep yourself busy reading with just her books alone.
