To be honest when I saw this thread title I though "hmm. what fashion?
and I say that as someone who likes the way she dresses and also dresses in very basic, conservative dresses.

It's close enough that more than one of us saw it.
Look, I dislike her views as much as all of you but given that the dress she’s wearing is a completely different color to the handmaid’s dress, it feels like if she’d worn any block color you guys would have drawn this parallel. If she’d worn blue you would have said she’s channeling the wives. If she’d worn brown you’d have said she was being like Aunt Lydia, etc. It’s... just a purple dress.

The Fold has nice dresses made with decent fabrics like wool crepe. They also are cleverly cut with details that take the eye away from potential problem areas.

I have the same dress (from the Fold), plus 10+ more from the same brand. Their dresses are usually made out of wool; they are super comfortable (and warm) for the fall/winter.

Nicely done. Seriously, though, I'm no fan of either Kavanaugh or Barrett (or any other FedSoc types), and I love fashion, but, this thread is a great example of how women undermine each other.
