Why is that maddening? If ACPS doesn't have money to fix up buildings to make it safe for kids to return, or hire more teachers, or find an equitable way to get kids back in the buildings, what is he personally supposed to do? He's a superintendent, not a magician.

Obviously PP thinks his personal salary should be going to fixing all these things!

ACPS is building a $80m+ elementary school during a pandemic.

Really??? You see no difference here? It would be more like if Obama had said America has the greatest school system in the world, but sent his kids to school abroad.

That’s not a given. Kids switch schools all the time if there’s bullying or special needs or something. Presumably he wouldn’t just send one kid to private if this was a sign schools won’t ever go back.

But he also knows that f2f is better for younger kids and his ES kid is still doing DL in public. So there is probably more to this story and he probably feels that it's none of your business since it's probably personal to his kid. You know, sort of like you would if you had a kid that needed something different than what your other kid or friends' kids did.
