+1 BC a reach, but Bucknell is probably a target
This surprises me! (About BC)
Chances there can be a little hard to predict. BC's acceptance rate for 2024 was 26%. Enrolled middle 50 percentiles 1340-1470 (that range seems wide) https://www.bc.edu/bc-web/admission/apply/admission-statistics.html
Right - which is why I thought it would be a fit for the profile of the OP's kid.
On another note - do you think that platforms like MCPS's Naviance are really that accurate? The scatterplots for my kid (similar stats to the OP's) for BC, for example, show it as a perfect "fit"... I wouldn't really worry about this other than my kid is trying to make a list of 3 reaches, 3 fits, 3 safeties.... and if a fit is actually a reach, then ... Well, then, whatever. But you know what I mean - it'd be nice to get the 3/3/3 balance right.
