The problem will be when those teachers try to re-enter the workforce to get their benefits package back. They may be blacklisted.

OK. But for the right price? What about a family that will finally recognize and pay for what a high quality teacher is worth?

My concern as an educator is being left alone with a teen of the opposite sex, and no protection from elite kids and their lawyers. I passed on an opportunity to teach in a pod this year.

Plus teachers are likely to be dropped after this school year, having given up their tenure/seniority.
