Good point. Small spaces must make it very challenging. Headphones?! We have a family of 4 and 500sq ft each.

Never! And besides, my kid would shoo me away if I even tried!

For many tweens and teens with ADHD and other special needs, school won't happen this year unless they do. Be glad you have no experience with this.

Same here.
I would be interested in listening in on certain classes but don't want to antagonize DC. Monitor grades, though.

Me too. During my breaks, I pop in and say hi. He's in HS so I don't need to help him. I teach kindergarten so we have parents sit right next to their kids the entire time but most do not.

No, my kids wear headphones for their privacy and their classmates’ privacy. I don’t sit in their classrooms during the day, why would this be any different? We talk about their day at dinner just like we would if this was a normal year.

Anonymous wrote:Well the reason I am asking is because my DD was watching Youtube this morning there was this lady name "Karen" (grandma) who was pissed off because at the teacher because she was talking about Historic events that happen in their lifetime. (the kids). Someone named Obama and she went on a rant on how he was half white and she also went on a rant on how she hates the BLM, later doing the Video the granddaughter drops the F-BOMB to maybe her Grandma. There was another video of the kids dancing and the teacher yelling at them.

No I don’t. I think it is so bizarre that some parents do. If they were in school you would not be listening to their class. Why do it now? Feels like invasion of privacy for the teacher and other classmates who think they are sharing amongst their classmates.

Some likely would if given the opportunity.
