Jesus Christ, because soccer isn’t hockey. It isn’t intended to be played a break net pace. This is why Americans generally suck at soccer.
Think of soccer more like baseball. More methodical, more purposeful and tactical.
You don’t have to like the sport but it is pretty damn good the way it is.
In all sincerity you should look to futsal to scratch the skill and speed itch. You might find that is more up your alley. Futsal is fantastic to watch.
