Proud? How about instead, you teach him nicely to say, "no thank you, I'm still social distancing." Or something reasonable and rational like that? Neighborhood friends have been the lifeblood for my now teenagers throughout their lives--not just during the pandemic. I hope your five year old hasn't now cut off that opportunity. Please stop teaching children to judge and yell at others.
