Also OP, my college DC has also been "sick" enough to require a visit to the ER. Had atypical coronavirus symptoms of mostly abdominal pain, but doctor ran a COVID test to rule it out. Test was negative.


Not every illness these days is coronavirus.

Well then your entire family should be calling your doctor and describing symptoms of each family member.

Follow medical advice as to who should get COVID tested, when and where.

Hope you feel better. Very unlikely to be the jogger outside. More likely being inside a grocery got a while. Hopefully just a cold.

We have one kid who is a carrier of strep - he gets it and then he has spread it to us before. . .

Makes no f-ing sense. You don't have COVID OP. You probably don't have a virus. You and your family could have allergies, could have eaten something off, could be stressed. SOOO many things. You likely don't have COVID.

I get sick when the weather changes Like it has every time. Mild cold symptoms. The snap from hot to cold somehow triggers something.

Oh...and I turned 50 and had 2 Covid tests required for normal preventive screenings this month, colonoscopy, etc, so I definitely know it was not Covid.

A runny or stuffy nose, in the absence of at least one of: cough, fever, chills, muscle pain, or shortness of breath, is highly unlikely to be Covid. There are still colds going around. And allergies.
