I had to stop and think if I posted this! DH is 80 pounds heavier than when we married. He is depressed, unemployed and incredibly unmotivated. He sleeps 10 to 12 hours a day. Our house is a shambles as I can't keep up with my job and the kids and school.
He wants to lose weight, but can't stop the drinking.

But He doesn’t care and the crazy thing is he’s one of those people who thinks he’s fine. And he actually makes fun of fat people. Very bizarre. I was thinking maybe the mirrors in our house or from a fun house.

She certainly enjoys the fruits of my labor, but doesn't seem to have any real desire to even somewhat reciprocate. I love her but I am definitely less physically attracted to her because of it.
Simp.

My husband and I have both recently turned 45, and it seems like weight is so much harder to lose than it used to be. But it also sucks when you’re not feeling attracted to your spouse. It may be shallow, but that’s not something most people can just think away.
You mention working out, but that’s not the best way to lose weight. Are you both working at home? If so, get rid of all the junk food, control meals and monitor his snacking. If there is no ice cream in the house, he can’t eat it.
Oh please! I never ever buy unhealthy food when I go grocery shopping. My husband makes weekly trips to Walmart for his supply of junk food, ice cream, and candy. It’s disgusting and he will eat it in bed and expect me to be horny watching this. I really cannot understand how a grown person doesn’t get it. That gaining weight and eating garbage in bed would be an aphrodisiac!!

And I feel exactly the way you feel about the sex thing. When he asked what would turn me on I’ve been so tempted to say, “a flat stomach “He’s never been thin but he has put on about 25 pounds since we got married.
