Unknowingly befriending a woman who is mentally unstable, controlling, manipulative, and abusive towards her autistic son, and live in GF. I was incredibly happy to finally get away from that sh*t show!

I’m so sorry. Sending love.

+1 sorry, PP

+2 this is heartbreaking. I'm sure you did the absolutely best you could with the information you had at the time. There's a reason that people say "the unthinkable happened" - millions and millions of people are depressed, and only a very tiny tiny fraction of them commit suicide. I hope you can find some peace.

Not trying to be snarky, but buying a Ford™️ vehicle.

Everyone told me to only purchase Japanese, but I loved how this car looked.

Once it surpassed 100,000 miles on the odometer, it became a nasty money pit.

This. Ended up in a field that I could have gotten into if I had just worked the three years. It is a nice touch to the resume though.

It happens. Don’t be so hard on yourself.

Not telling someone how much I love them before they were gone from my life.

A lot of us have done that once. I was exhausted, ran an errand with my son and took him out to feed/change him and forgot to put the buckle on. Luckily I realized it pretty quickly and pulled over.

Really??? You must not have much life experience if this is all you got.

I was responding to someone else. We have had some pretty horrific things happen due to other people lying/selfish/narcissistic behavior. I posted earlier about not trusting people who should be trusted but this can be a really scary mistake as a first time parent.

Law school, or maybe just the top 5 law school I went to. I’ve got a ton of debt and am stagnated in my non-legal “career” because I was focused on doing the best, not the best for me.

Yes. I got pregnant & figures I owed it to my son to give it a shot with his Dad. Married when DS was 18 months old.
I can now tell him I tried. But you cant fake it until you make it.
