Labrador retriever or any doodle or any huge breed means UMC.
Poodle usually means MC woman or gay guy.
German shepherd means former police or military.

No snarky comments asking why I read this. It’s entertainment.

I picture those people having doodles.

I don’t think this is really on point. Maybe it’s like one couple you know. The couple you describe in DMV has a labradoodle and an XC90.
English Bulldog owners are usually more focused and typically always get the same breed and grew up with one.

I feel like pit owners occupy very different ends of the spectrum and there's no in between!! Trashy Trump types who get them bc they think they look macho and tough OR bleeding heart liberals who get them (well, rescue them...always) as a way of "standing up for the little guy", almost a sort of social justice action?
Agree. Virtue signaling at both ends of that spectrum.
umm no it’s not. You can that if you are trying to justify to yourself, but it’s really not.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Golden Doodle or any kind of doodle... I am trying to keep up with the Joneses.
I think Doodle owners are kind of dumb, terrible dog owners, usually have bratty kids.
Was going to reply and say that we got a doodle bc my kids have allergies, so we had to get a dog from a breeder
But let's be real, they kind of are bratty kids and probably could have done without a dog, so maybe I'm dumb for spending $$$ on the dog. (though he is far better than any of the 4 rescue 'mutts' I had in the past, working with a dog from puppy-hood, knowing they had no unknown trauma, etc. is something!)

I’m the OP and the poster who said that about Doodle owners. (No hard feelings, hopefully. I was being cheeky.) I don’t judge breeder dogs, as I have my own—an English Bulldog. IMO, it’s completely reasonable to want a specific breed or a puppy for certain characteristics.

Pit bull is either UMC lib or lower class with conservative leanings. Not much in between.

I thought pitbulls were owned by Hispanics in the barrio.
