I know some families who have four kids (the first three were either all boys or all girls).
This wasn't important to me or DH. DH is the youngest of four brothers and his parents have said that they had hoped that he would be a daughter, which he didn't like hearing growing up.
PSA- I have kids who are all one gender. There are 4. We did NOT keep going, trying for the opposite sex and then gave up; we had 4 because we wanted 4 humans, regardless of sex. It drives me crazy when people who have 3 of one sex and more of any assume this.
