Some of the BRYC ODSL teams (run by rec) were able to move over to the Elite side to get access to NCSL, and that program has continued as the "Bridge" program; those are the Black/Silver teams. The levels of these teams varies widely. Some have a relationship with their ECNL/Elite coaching counterparts, some run completely separately. The Black/Silver teams aren't really ranked, if you're the first "Bridge" team in your age group you're the Black team, if a second team forms they're Silver.
Our bridge team has always played NCSL and is ranked above the other Elite teams. It all varies.
