In what way?

Given the late notification of cases to functional authorities and potential contacts, i cant wait to see the next round.

Btw, even potus says it affects virtually no one and now he’s hospitalized and there a dozen virtual nobodies affected related to the rose garden event and whatnot. Just a matter of time till a super spreader hotspot happens at schools, sports, etc that touches closer to home. At least wear a frigging mask at a public event even if you tested clear and free.

I don't think it's surprising that members of soccer teams are testing positive. Teams then follow the quarantining protocols. I think the only things that would be newsworthy is (1) if a club did NOT follow protocols (which I don't think is likely to happen) and (2) if there is actual spread among teammates just through playing soccer together outdoors. (i.e., not if there is spread among teammates also hung out extensively, with or without masks, or carpooled, etc.)

Girls, boys, or both?

Nobody respects anybody’s privacy here - we are seeing too much gossip about serious things from anonymous posters about kids. It is disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourselves. The clubs will handle it. All you are doing is casting a pall over everybody on these teams whether they have the misfortune to have the virus or not. You won’t adjust your behavior based on anything you hear because the clubs and teams will do so. And if you don’t believe they will, and are this frightened, then your kid should not be playing. Stop this nonsense, respect the process, or get out of travel soccer. People will simply start posting lies about individuals clubs and teams if we abide this behavior from anonymous posters .

Relax Karen. There is nothing wrong with discussing which teams have covid positives. Especially when those teams are scheduled to play. This is with us for another year, and stuff like this will continue to happen.

Its not a secret that MD united had a bunch of cases- the 06 girls, the 03 girls, the 07 and 08 girls. Theyre going through the proper protocols, teams that practived together are quarantining and posptoning games/scrimmages, etc. It will all be fine.

Nobody should believe anything like this unless the poster self identifies (since privacy doesn’t seem to matter to this piece of sht, I am sure they won’t mind crawling from behind their keyboard to tell us who they are and their club affiliation). It is also well known that McLean, FCV and Pipeline have all had cases. But I have already said too much . . .

Seriously, relax. We would likely have this pandemic under control if people were a little more socially motivated instead of being so private about a non-discriminating disease.

There is no stigma associated with this and frankly this is why people should just be happy to be getting whatever games they can in at this point. This is why the restrictions, this is why school is distance learning because this kind of thing would be far more disruptive. A club misses a couple of soccer games that can be rescheduled, frankly a minor inconvenience that many clubs have already dealt with.

Lol. you all act like saying a club has cases is disparaging the club. Why would that be?

MD United and Bethesda had 2 days of scrimmages planned this past weekend. Majority of the games occurred- some did not due to the teams still quarantining. There is no bad stigma for a club having cases. Its bound to happen and all clubs will get through it.

ONE team. 3 players, 5 staff with a positive test. and no-one knows what the PCR cycle was or whether any of them have symptoms. Don't purposely sow seeds of panic.

You have it, don't you? I can't believe you're still posting here and exposing all of us to the risk of catching it. I hope you're wearing a mask at least while you're posting?

Yes, I have it and my name is joe Biden Donald Trump John Roberts Mitch McConnell and my kids play at McLean, FCV, Loudoun and MU. You nailed it!

Now I know you're lying. Trump's son doesn't play at FCV.

Believe me, there are plenty of my children you know nothing about.

Well now you're here, I've got a couple of questions for you....

Lighten up Francis. It's an anonymous board, nobody should take anything written here seriously. If you want it cleaned up, start using a registered account.

It’s Frank to you, but I agree on the part about not taking anything seriously on the board.
