Your kids have been taking selfies with each other before contact drills were allowed.
He's 8. No he wasn't.

All CCL teams that are formidable competition on the girls side.
LOL sure! If you mean there are two clubs at the top of the tables each and every year. Also past few year it’s tough to get a full schedule of games. Like 4 in the fall and 5 in the spring. Great league! Real competitive...lol

agree, CCL is in fine shape!Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Lmvsc parent here: we “rescheduled” but I believe it’s because we have so many missing teams in CCL that our replacement teams weren’t ready.
I don't think we can blame the lmvsc issue on a replacement team that is filling in for our lack of teams. The club recently sent out links for uniform orders and informed by the supplier the uniforms will not be ready until late September due to their current workload. When we play in 2 weeks, it looks like we will have the same uniform problem so will they cancel these games too? Administratively, lmvsc is just way behind and I don't see how I will make it through this year with all the last minute information, schedules (or lack of) and all the uninformed changes.
I guess we should be happy with paying for an administration that feels they can take our money, not give us the product they have promised, change coaches and not seem to respect the family schedules. Game cancellations are one thing but we have had a lot of practices that are changed last minute, coach not showing up so practice combined with other teams and scrimmages added or time changed because of field scheduling.
Are other clubs having the same issues we are experiencing or are the problems only at lmvsc? I know it is late in the process but would like to consider changing clubs if I can cancel my uniform order.
Sorry for venting but we are new to the club and did not have these many problems before arriving.
plenty of new players to our club just wore a "shirt color" and the refs were fine with it. lmvsc didn't play alexandria because they don't have enough teams and they're at risk of losing ccl. it's not even "at risk", it's going to happen. since you're new to lmvsc here's a historical breakdown:
they were really good and had lots of teams in all age groups and genders. leadership treated staff and coaches poorly, so they left last year. a ton of players left, and this season a ton more players left. this will continue until lmvsc levels off around the middle divisions of ncsl, competitive to third teams at alexandria, arlington, syc, etc.
CCL is having problems. I do not think they push any club out. The girls side is really hurting.

Thank your sharing. I will review this thread on the LMVSC Townhall and make an informed decision today. I may need to call my credit card company as well because the 1st payment is scheduled to be drafted today. I am less worried about my deposit.
it's a lot to go through, here are some highlights:
- academy program (despite nobody in the club asking for it); this only 'benefits' the 2006 and 2007 boys (technical director's two teams); according to the Technical Director "this works in Europe" but the problem is LMVSC isn't Europe, white players + blue players does not equal red players
- a sizable chunk of people asking to consider CCL2 or NCSL, this was absolute no
- a lot of people venting
- in 2019, parents were told coaches would only stay at their team for two years but in 2020 several coaches are entering their third year
big news:
- fired JN (previous director of travel) and took away his 2003 girls and 2004 girls to give to SO (who was previous U13 and up director; he also already coaches 2005 and 2004 boys)
- lost about 1/3 of players in 2019, mostly top team players
- lost about another 1/3 of players in 2020
- there are more missing teams in CCL than total white teams
there's a lot going on that's bad, but the executive director shoulders the blame for just about everything. a couple years ago, this club had competitive teams (winning State Cups, teams in National League, competing in top Showcases like Disney and Jeff Cup). now there are missing age groups everywhere and there's no plan except to cancel games and blame it on uniforms not being ordered because they didn't order uniforms.
