I have gained weight these past six months. The one time I did OMAD, I lost a lot of weight and, once I got used to it, I wasn't hungry.
I hate counting calories so I just simplified it: every other day, OMAD was a regular meal but no dessert. On the other day, my OMAD was more like a fast- I just had low-cal veggie soup.
So you only ate one meal every two days?
Doesn’t anyone on this board see how disordered this is? Or how it’s leading to disorder?
I’m the person who posted this and I’ll respond to you.
I’m a small female, over 50yo and weighed over 200 lbs. I couldn’t lose the weight until I did this.
It’s not as drastic as it seems:
- one day I would basically just have veggie soup
- the next day, I would eat a full meal: salad/ meat/ veggies
That may not sound like much food, but it still took me a full year to lose 50 pounds.
Note that I was still overweight even after six months. And yes, I exercised.
Again, I’m female, older and small. This may not be enough food for someone else but it was for me.
