So they are going to host games and kids from other places will be expected to wear masks while they play? That's going to be a big no from everyone else.

If your kid plays for a club team in MoCo, looks like no home games this year..

I do wonder how this will play out. No one wanting to schedule here with out teams?

Probably both teams will prefer to play mask free elsewhere in MD.

The ONLY exceptions to the mask guidance should be the elite pro soccer players who are tested regularly & frequently for Covid — as opposed to youth soccer parents who are told to take their kids’ temperature before each practice / game, but cannot be arsed to actually do that, nor do the coaches ask whether their players have had a temperature check. Don’t ask, don’t tell is a lousy policy that never works.

If I'm jogging in the street without a mask, and you're on the sidewalk, you're in very little danger of catching anything from me, since I'm move than six feet away from you. The bigger risk is that I'll get hit by a car, but I'm OK with that.

The People’s Republic of Elrichistan.

The kids need to wear masks to play sport. Meanwhile fat Marc and his buddies sit indoors at restaurants and stuff their faces.

Go to 10 min mark. Some of the clubs / soccerplex have sent out guidance noting this new update. Some note while they disagree and it may pose a health risk, they expect players to comply. They will be working with county to hope to change.

I bet no one that made this decision has jogged around the block successfully with a mask on.

Just to be clear...we're talking about wearing masks during games and scrimmages, as well as practices, right?

Np- Correct. They were not clear about drills vs water breaks. I seems like it may be 100% of the time now.
