Nope! I think it really varies kid to kid, hence all the different responses about giving up the stroller. My three year old can walk about 1.5-2 miles somewhere, play, then walk back and be fine.
People who walk a lot more tend to use it longer. I live in NYC and people are not giving up strollers at 18 mos, hahaha, or even at 3. No one will blink an eye if you keep using it through preschool.

Anonymous wrote:OP, the people who are posting here do not strike me as normal. When I walk around our walkable neighborhood, I see some old a** kids in strollers. But I think that 4 is generally the hard cutoff for the normals.
Anonymous wrote:Not gonna lie, we used one up to age 7. After age 3, we just used a foldable umbrella stroller for days with a lot of walking like Kings Dominion, the zoo, museum trips etc.
