By the way, essential worker teachers HAVE been working every contracted day since March, and will continue to (essentially) work every contracted day in the coming semester -- safely from home, just like millions of other Americans, as they are essential educators, not essential babysitters.

Regardless of what the definition of essential is, asymptomatic covid + dont actually keep working anywhere that im familiar with (all medical places)

I took designation as teachers cannot continue to say "I don't want to return in person until x,y,z" which no essential worker can say that. But with any positive case (even asymptomatic) we still have to quarantine.
