The date of that document is June 2020. Montgomery County elevated soccer to high risk about two weeks ago, which I understand it was entitled to do. Unless and until Montgomery County lowers soccer to medium risk, which would put it back in line with the rest of the state, the heightened restrictions applicable to high risk sports will still apply within Montgomery County.
Now the editorial: Why Montgomery County would do that for soccer while leaving lacrosse, which by design has kids nose to nose in faceoffs and has at least as much contact as soccer, a medium risk sport is beyond any rational explanation.
