OP, I don't see anything that you're doing wrong. Of course you shouldn't hide the fact that you have a beach house when it comes up naturally. It might just be that things would have petered out after 3 dates anyway.

I have a good friend who is in her 40s and has never been married. She's always very together, she is pretty, in shape, very smart. So much going for her. But she just is off putting much of the time and she doesn't see it. She sees herself as presenting professional, competent, kind. But it's like it's somehow practiced. I don't think it is, but she . . . she's just never relaxed, at ease, easy.

All of that makes her really good at her job, but no so good at being someone you just want to hang out with.

She starts dating someone, she's excited, then it never goes anywhere after a few dates. I can only think it's the easy thing. And I don't mean easy as in sex.

NP here. FWIW, I make my living writing and there are times when I'm going fast, not thinking, that I will make weird errors like this. I generally realize as soon as I press send, but I don't think you're v your is a definite sign of troll.

I am not overweight and I am sex positive though I do believe in developing a connection with someone before sex. I am not sleeping with someone on the 1st or 2nd date....to me, that is just a hookup.
