I think this sounds like a great idea. I think the key to make this work is lots of open communication. It’s probably not a bad idea to try to work your schedule so that you and your DH both have either a day off a week (or close to it). 5 days/ week of intense childcare could really tire your in-laws out. And you/ DH should Cherri would give them weekends fully off from childcare/ cooking/ cleaning.
