I don’t know of any teachers who have this info. A principal might be able to answer.

Is there any chance that the DL kids will still be placed in larger classrooms with teachers from other schools?

They will not be separated per Rachna Sizemore's town hall the other night.
Our principle told us that classes were being split based on hybrid v DL selection. He said they’re doing it this way so it’ll be easier to transition to hybrid, if conditions allow. I think it’s funny that they’re still keeping up appearances that we might go in person at any point this year.
It's going to be even funnier to see your reaction when it happens.
I chose hybrid, I’ll be thrilled! I just don’t think it’s going to happen.
Reading on this forum made me feel as though schools wouldn't open until fall 2021. But then, today, I heard that NY is allowing schools to reopen. And I see the graphs on the VDH site looking good for NoVA. https://www.vdh.virginia.gov/coronavirus/covid-19-daily-dashboard/
It give me hope that we won't be ruled by fear forever. I am hopeful that on 8/15 Brabrand will have a plan to get the most vulnerable kids back in classrooms this fall.
You’re cute thinking this all virtual pivot has anything to do with Covid “metrics.” Numbers on July 21 looked better than they did in June when choice was offered. It is all or nothing with Brabrand, it seems. If there are not enough teachers for X NO ONE will be going in-person. #fea

Well school was supposed to start in two weeks....wouldn’t they normally have the kids in classes by now?

NY's school opening will not go well, no opening will, so it will guarantee DL for the whole year for FCPS.Well school was supposed to start in two weeks....wouldn’t they normally have the kids in classes by now?

ours said this too(and also messed up dates) probably same school. If so, during that same virtual meeting, he went back and said they were “trying” and that the county may ask everyone to re vote if it came to that and then question was asked yet again and the AP totally back peddled. I got the impression it was said to shut parents up. No one is going to get a teacher from a different school. And let’s all be real, chances anyone gets back in person this year are slim. The schools that have started(and some already shut down) have COVID cases and it’s a nightmare to handle.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Did anyone hear whether the DL kids will be separated from the hybrid kids in class assignments?
