Why do you need to pay for a whiteboard? There are plenty of free whiteboard apps.

lumbar pillow
new iPad
backup headphones
indoor tent (DC used this a lot)
tons of books including for Kindle FreeTime
digital subscriptions to Epic, Beast Academy
nature curriculum
art supplies
outdoor equipment
paid for dozens of Outschool classes for enrichment
I spent hundreds of hours researching supplemental enrichment since remote learning was terrible
Fall
more books and Outschool
school provides Chromebook
maybe another chair cushion
I'm also a professor I think I need a something to replacement my laptop camera like a Logitech with bigger ring light and a separate microphone

Yes, please do! With so much human togetherness, a relaxed state of mind is crucial, and animals are the best at helping us do that. Other Homo Sapiens, not so much, it seems...

Not much. Kids already have a desk and chair each. There's one home computer for the younger to use, older kid is getting a laptop through the school. They also both have tablets that can be used in a pinch.
Not planning a pod or tutor.
I suppose we'll stock up on notebooks and pencils, like we do every year. And some comfy sweatpants.
I think my older kid might be due to get a graphing calculator this year. Haven't seen the final school supply list, but he'll be in algebra. So that would be our biggest purchase, but it's not directly tied to DL.

Teen is getting a desk chair as she has been using a kids size wooden one, about $150. Also maybe a kindle or something so she can take notes for AP classes while watching the laptop screen, so another $100. Or a second monitor.
MS is probably getting a small desk to set up in a common area so can.m be watched, headphones.
ES is getting a chromebook touch for a few hundred, headphones, a mouse, and maybe a monitor so she can watch examples while working on her nearpod assignment.
So about $1000?

High schooler who will review/tutor through assignments every week - 200/month
Not sure about our pod set up yet, but I’m mixing with some high rollers, so maybe another $500
Considering a second screen so I can launch all my 3rd graders assignments in one location so I don’t have to keep helping out.
