It was a fun charity type game where the USWNT only played for fun without anything to prove and didn’t want any injuries. On the other hand, these 15 year old boys were raging with hormones and wanted to prove their manliness to these women.

So if the USWNT took it seriously they would have won?

We will never know. And it was a stupid idea to put 15 year old boys to play against women in the first place.

european leagues will be going ahead on their september thru june calendar. NWSL players will be waiting around not playing any competitive games in the meantime.

They are essentially out of season until preseason next year.

Liverpool women were relegated to the Championship precisely because the club does not spend money on them. Several of their games were postponed this season because the field they play on was too muddy to play soccer.

It is true that some other teams in the PL are beginning to spend some money on the women's teams. Liverpool just happened to be a terrible example.
