Start Chrome, click on extensions, see if GoGuardian is installed. If Chrome is synced to an MCPS account, you won’t be able to disable GoGuardian. If you stop syncing, you should be able to disable it.


I did this and saw no GoGuardian extension.

We have logged into ParentVue and StudentVue and have used MCPS Zoom to access classes at this point. So apparently it's possible to do these things without ending up with GoGuardian on your machine.

It's a Mac, FWIW.

Thats why we picked up the Chromebook even though we have laptops, desktops, etc.
