My husband just got back from Maine, absolutely nothing at the borders, no attention paid to the out of state license plates, etc. If you really read their guidance, it's focused on what you do once you get there, where you're staying, who you interact with.

I'd spend your energy planning your trip up (long drive!) and time there and not worry about getting a test

This thread has been very helpful. Rhode Island also allows mandatory 14day quarantine from DMV unless you have a negative Covid test 72 hrs prior to arrival, or take the test in RI and await for results while quarantining. Unlike Maine, they do require minors to be tested.

Medstar wouldn’t test my daughter even with symptoms and coming back from AZ. Waited 3 hrs online for a 3 min. screening with a nurse (same CVS does immediately online). I would not use them again.

Just booked at Preston’s for Friday. Fingers crossed. Need to go to CT to help my 87 year old mom post-surgery.
