Cut them off, and find people who have the attitude of a golden retriever loafing around in a pile of leaves.

Primitive people = primitive behavior, OP.

Nature + nurture comes into play here too.
Sometimes there is something wrong with them actually. They may have brains that are structured in a certain way which makes impulse control difficult for example.

Yes, that is definitely a nature thing. But even people that have things chemically off can obtain treatment to live with their disability without hurting their relationships. But yes, i would think the exceptions to that might be someone with a severe form of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, or a sociopath or serial killer. I've never really think much about the possibility that people *can't* change. I usually consider it as someone unwilling to, not literally incapable of it.
You make a good point to keep in mind.

Funny what I was thinking. I'm shocked at the people who admit they lie and cheat and have zero remorse...at least most.
Or the bragging AP's. I'm old enough to have seen some really bad things happen to those people. Bad people invite all kinds of drama into their lives.
not just limited to the issue of cheating but there are some prolific posters who just tear into people for no reason other than they themselves are just sad, depressed, angry human beings

I’m anxiously awaiting to see that Karma take a lying/cheating evil b@tch down!!
I agree. At 50, I’ve seen many a-holes pay their due in some fairly spectacular ways!
Karma doesn't always deliver a gut punch though. I've got an unhappy neighbor who takes it out on others in the neighborhood and while the Karma bus hasn't come it appears that a slow, miserable Karma burn is taking over this person's entire mental state. Pinched face, angry grimace and aging quickly. Wow, all of that negativity is eating them up inside.

It does! Totally eats people like this from the inside out, and they hate nothing more than seeing someone else happy, or seeing someone with something they want. It KILLS them.
OP, people like this can't figure out how to be happy, because they get in their own way. They don't know any better. NOT your problem.

After (pre Darth Sidious)
