1. The thing that isn't well understood about Judaism by those who are not Jewish is that within Judaism there is a wide range of opinions. Most Jews don't really think about an afterlife that much. Orthodox Judaism believes in an afterlife. It's pretty fundamental to our faith. Ohr Somayach is mainstream Orthodox.
