I completely agree and Dr. Levens was the worst. They pushed donor eggs on me not realizing that my husband had an issue too. We finally figured out what is going on and are now on track.

it's a shame I loved Dr Gordon at first, but my DH noticed the cross on his lapel and bible verses in his office and started to question whether his beliefs were getting in the way of science based medicine. I liked the fact that he was Christian, but when he recommended we continue with IUI (DH has poor morphology) or just let nature take it's course, we switched to Dr. Waud. We got pregnant with first cycle of IVF, and now I'm angry Dr. Gordon wasted our time.

I chose him when going to Dominion based on reviews, but after 2 IUI's I switched to Dr DiMattina and got pregnant with first transfer. He could be better with bedside manner, but the nurses and the anesthesiologist both said the man can get eggs outta anyone.

We had a terrible experience for both M and F factors as CFA. I was too freaked out to change clinics right away, and stayed there for far too long. If I could turn back time... We once had to wait over a month for a sperm sample result because the doctor was on vacation and they wouldn't communicate the results any other way. It was bizarre, but we didn't know any better. Wasted so much time. No matter what clinic you chose, if something seems off, go elsewhere. I wish we had.

I actually had a great experience at GW last year that resulted in the birth of my DS. It may have been because I had a great nurse but I found all the doctors to be caring and compassionate and willing to discuss changes in protocols. I ended up giving myself my trigger shot on the weekend for my retrieval and they opened the office to monitor my bloodwork the same day. I ended up with 5 embryos after one retrieval and got pregnant after my first transfer with them. My impression is that their success rates are lower because they are willing to take older patients and patients with more difficult diagnoses (or lack thereof).

FertilityIQ has a rather comprehensive rating system which is how I decided to go with Dr. Anitha Nair at SGF.

I love Dr. Sarajari at Dominion, and I have had a couple monitoring appointments with Dr Waud and DiMatina and they were fine.

Has anyone used Dr. Osborne at SGF? I am currently seeing Dr. DiMattina but thinking of switching due to his personality and a few errors Dominion has made that has eroded my trust in them.

I'm pregnant (11 weeks) after 3rd attempt. Had successful transfer with Dr. Payson at CCRM. He's compassionate, honest, and knowledgeable. He's also open to thinking outside the box in terms of treatment options. I had transferred to CCRM after a less than stellar experience at SGF where I had 2 unsuccessful transfers. I had Dr. Levens at SGF, who is just as kind and knowledgable as Dr. Payson, but the whole SGF workflow is shady (from billing to the fact that the nurses seem to run the show).

SGF has financial packages that make them attractive (shared risk, etc), but the customer service, inability to deviate from protocols based on individual circumstances, and sheer patient volume gives one the feeling that patients less valuable than their paychecks. I loved the sense of feeling valued and heard at CCRM. Would highly recommend Dr. Payson and his team at CCRM!

I did several rounds of IVF at CFA in DC. I liked my doctor but the communication from the staff was poor and impersonal. I am doing my next round at SGF and already things are so much better.

Dr. Gordon left Dominion and moved out of state over a year ago.

I went to Dominion ~5 years ago and I loved Dr. Gordon (and have twins from the experience). I thought Dr. DiMattinia was a jerk and would not send someone there now with Gordon gone. (They do have two new doctors, both women, who have since joined the practice.)

Dr. DiMattina mocked my religion, told me maybe my god had already gotten me pregnant, and said there’s always adoption. Those were his parting words to me as he walked me to the front door. I left Dominion humiliated and furious and booked an appointment at SGF the next month. Got pregnant on my first cycle with SGF, and a second baby with them a year after the first. Will go back again for a third.

That is awful, I am so sorry you went through that!!
