Drive on the grass until you clear their car. The grass will be fine. You will be more relaxed. I honestly doubt they intentionally bought two cars that don’t fit in the garage or the driveway. I imagine they did not even consider the height or width or length when they bought the car (which I am sure meets other needs like having three kids or sick dogs or pulling an RV or whatever they bought it for). They probably did not realize it until they got home and then said darn. They are making the best of it.

You can also park your cars that way and show them, but it seems like the best and easiest option is to realize that you have options (one in the garage and one in the driveway) that allows full egress. Be happy you are not stuck.

I would liken this to someone with a walker having their home health aide next to them on the sidewalk and you have to pull your stroller to the side to let them pass. Sure, the home health aide “should” be in front or behind to allow the other side of the sidewalk to be used. But they need it more right now, so I show grace.

This is one of those time where you've done active-now you do passive. Park both cars and uber. Couple of days if you can. When they complain-time for a concrete agreement

Also it is possible they are parking on the easement. Even if they are on their side of the center line.

If you really cannot get past their cars, just park on the shared portion. You’ve already notified them about the issue so I don’t think it’s passive aggressive. They’ll get tired of asking you to move your car so they can get out.

I'd wait until they are out, then park both your cars in a similar fashion. I'd spend the money using uber to drive the point home. When they bring it up, just act surprised and say they didn't seem to think it was an issue when they were doing it, but if they now acknowledge that it is, 'let's come up with an amicable solution'.

It is not the neighbors driveway. It’s a shared driveway meaning that both neighbors have easements to use it to get to their garages. Imagine a Y shape and the neighbors are all but blocking the exit. Not okay.

Fine, then do it. Park your cars in the way that you say blocks all the cars. If they can get out fine, it may be just that you're overstating the problem. Tight parking is a fact of urban life, are you sure you're not just wanting more space because it's easier?

So is street parking.
