NP but this reads like a response to the responses here not the original article. That's how discussions work - you start with an article, comment, and people comment about the comments. And this is a very valid point.

I was telling DH this last night. My high anxiety kid is doing great. He and a group of 2-3 other kids seem to have a non stop play date. Facetime is constantly going off and whoever is available to play does. It’s like the modern version of seeing who is around in the neighborhood to play with.
