The CTCL schools are easy to get into by the standards of this board. My kid really liked a few we saw in the Midwest (Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin) and out West (Oregon and Washington).

Anonymous wrote:Univ of Michigan in state fits that bill for many, or at least it did. Maybe admissions is too hard and unpredictable even for in-staters now for it to be a safety though. I definitely hear of high-stats in-state Asian kids not getting in.
