Trey Livingston is coaching more teams rather than just the oldest ones. That seems good news.

2019-2020 Season:
- The club is still awaiting word from our various leagues on resuming play, and most leagues and tournaments are looking at summer options for resuming play. The club is constantly balancing league decisions, financial considerations, and doing right by our families. BSC is looking at options and incentives to keep families in our program.

- Five coaches were let go (they were not returning for the 2020-2021 season) and teams should have already been notified. Eric Tin will be serving as the Interim Girls YDP Director.

- 2020 Super Y League is still going on as scheduled. League is exploring some different options in the fall/tournament formatting. BSC will be doing a additional tryouts at a date to be determined. Players can still accept their invitations if they haven’t done so already and parents should email our Office Manager Zane Campbell if they are having issues with their invitation.

- Summer Camps are still going on as scheduled. If there is a need to cancel camps parents will be given the option to receive a credit to their account or switch to a later week of camp.

2020-2021 Season:
- Girls coaching slate was released online and invitations will be going out on April 24th. The boys coaching slate will be released on April 24th and invitations will be going out on May 1st.

- U9-U11 girls teams have rebranded as ECNL I and II although they will not be playing in ECNL. Branding is aimed at mirroring boys academy name.

- Club is working towards delaying new uniforms for this year and pushing it to 2021-2022.

- Tryouts for players outside of our club will be held starting on June 1st. The tryouts for new players will be held in conjunction with our current teams/players to see where new players fit best.

Looks like BSC has tryouts this weekend for Super Y.

huh? uh no.

Have they not updated the link? https://www.bethesdasoccer.org/super-y-summer-league/

If you type in their main page, you're not able to get access to any pages - probably so they don't have to keep updating every page. Please don't show up to tryouts!

Hearing the same thing re some current 06 Rush girls. But not expecting roster sizes over 18-20.

wont be a lot of rush girls coming over from what im hearing from the girls. some were already playing and practicing with them all winter long i think.
roster will be around 18

Well, now that Kevin - (their previous Rush coach two years ago) is now one of the 06 ECNL 1 coach - could see that view changing.

same as this season- kevin and dave. some from rush liked him, some didnt. like every coach out there heh.
06 roster is short to begin with.

05 roster as well.

Whether you like Kevin or not, he’s a darn good coach. Probably #1 or 2 in the area for girls along with the Pipeline’s coach S.Q. Yells a bit but yells things that are useful and smart.

No question that KL is a great coach and will boost Bethesda's profile. S.Q. also good coach and it is great that Pipeline is in ECNL. McLean ha a great group of ECNL coaches and many top players flock to McLean from Bethesda. That trend should change with KL leading.

+1. We heard about Kevin last year and people who didn’t like him. So we were cautious. Our kid developed an amazing amount in a short time as did most of their team. The team worked very hard, but his training is very effective and you can see the rewards of hard work.. He does like to win but is very clear on the goal so you know what you are getting By the end of the winter, he was full time or part time coaching several of the ECNL teams. Not sure how he does it.

what age group are you with

^^^I second that. Nacny is a solid coach and great mentor. We are no longer with the club but she still offers advise to DD.
