Uhhh do you pay for your son's college?? There are a lot of issues I'd be worried about here. He is in your house, lay down some ground rules like, don't be a jerk and do your school work that we pay for. Or he can head out and rent an apartment because he's an adult.

One person who smokes marijuana and becomes mentally ill doesn’t really add to the conversation. How many people who become ill have used alcohol, perhaps significantly. And yes, it’s very likely that people with underlying mental health issues seek out marijuana (or alcohol for that matter).

I am not a big fan of weed but it’s also never worked for me. I accept that for some people it does. I also would rather be around smokers than drunks.

A bug??? A bug that's completely unknown to the medical community that affected just this one teen living a normal life (no off the beaten track adventures at all), did not affect anyone else, relatively sudden onset of paranoia, and he did not get better or worse over decades?
