My senior daughter is still in her apartment up in PA. She has a couple of online classes to finish, and she has an internship for which she’s considered essential (health care field).

She’ll be home soon, but not until the semester ends.

My DS is home. He misses school but realizes it's much nicer to be at home (his apartment is kind of dumpy) and he is well fed here. We are enjoying having him home- life is busy and spending so much time with our kids (both college age) is a little silver lining in this awful scary time.

My son from Boston is home... 42 out of 45 kids on his sports team went home

Every single friend from HS/MS/ES are home.

We are in MoCo.

He has 1 friend from NY whose parent has died.

What does this mean? Why in the world would you specify that kids from "top" colleges are home? My kid is at what is considered a "top" college, but he lived on campus so the dorms are closed. He had no choice. However, he has some friends who live off-campus and some are still in their off-campus apartment. Being at a top college has nothing to do with any of this. Really strange post.

Still a dumb post. There are plenty of non-Ivy schools that have/require kids to live on campus all 4 years. You just wanted to post that your kid goes to an Ivy - kind of pathetic, don't you think?
