Perfect Harmony - the main character is a curmudgeon, but the show is all about kindness and community spirit.
Kim's Convenience - there's a fair amount of snark, but the ultimate love and kindness between the family members and beyond is good.

I've been watching Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, and it's wonderful. Just what you're looking for, OP. It's also a visual feast. Very uplifting and just the thing to watch in these times.

Also, Jane the Virgin. I've always said that it's a clinic in healthy relationships. As a telenovela there is a certain absurdity to the plots, but the human interactions and relationships are so honest and authentic that it packs an extra emotional punch. In a good way. It's also a visual treat. Both of these shows have wonderful color in the sets, clothes, etc., that just make them really fun to watch.

Seriously? Rory is one of the most entitled, stuck-up brats on TV in my opinion, especially in the later seasons. Lorelai isn't exactly a peach either. She uses men left and right.

Oh, pipe down. It's a lovely series. It's not Hallmark, but it's not the trash of so much stuff that's on tv now. Shows need a someone doing bad acts so that another character can be shown to be doing the right thing.

I agree. Gilmore girls is one of my all time favorite shows.

Avonlea, also known as Road to Avonlea? Not sure where you would find it now. It's old but so are a bunch of other recommendations.
