Anonymous wrote:I do not want to hurt your feelings, but Landon is not even in the same league as Potomac in terms of academics. Landon is much better in sports. My DC is not at Potomac.

BS
There seems to be a Potomac booster trying to drum up interest with these multiple threads. Strange
+1. Maybe their Advancement/Admission folks are all over here?
You are kidding me!
The average SAT at Potomac in 2019 is 1440 for Potomac and 1250 for Landon!!! Source: www.lotusprep.com. Google: best 34 high schools in the DC area
What a joke of a source. A test prep company. Even Niche has them almost the same yet you chose this obscure site?

Vibe at the schools? Social scene? Academics? Opportunities to play sports? College counseling?
Thanks so much!
OP: take a look at the thread of Gonzaga versus Potomac. It is clear that people are saying Potomac, not Gonzaga, is as academic pressure cooker.
yeah, right. By people you mean the Potomac booster who may or may not work for the school?
The fact somebody posted to compare Potomac to 2 schools makes me think they are a booster of Potomac or their kid didn’t get accepted to Landon or GZ and has a bone to pick.
Yes- Potomac booster you are the best. You are winning at life—-(even if most people in DC haven’t heard of the school). Feel better now?

Google Potomac matriculation and set up a simple Excel file to confirm this, if you do not believe.
Tell me the number for the same statistics for Landon.
dig deeper...the athletic stars sign at prestigious colleges. for the kids who are academic stars, where do they end up matriculating?....I have kids in US at Potomac and a number of parents have been very disappointed with college placement in the last couple of years.
