Subject: Best advice (and books) for having two at just two?

I SAH. My DS won’t start school for at least a year after #2 is born and then only two hours in the afternoon. Putting him in daycare or longer preschool is not an option. My mom will help for the first four months but then she’ll have to leave. DH is great (does all cooking and most cleaning) but works long hours.
Any advice is welcome (except putting DS is daycare). Any book suggestions too.

Wait, you’re a SAHM and your husband does all the cooking and cleaning? You really hit the jackpot!

Sadly, this is kinda spot on. It won’t be constant hell, but now that my two kids are 3 and 5, I can see how accurate this is. I thought 2 and 4 was massively better, but then it would get hard again.
The first 2 years are just very hard. Unless both your kids are easy and chill. But mine aren’t that hard, and it tested me.
But! The hope: IT IS SO AWESOME NOW. Like amazing. They play together and have a real bond and it’s just the best.
Take lots of videos of the cute stuff because you won’t remember it later.
