Exactly.

Neither of us have weight issues that we actively "monitor" so I think that makes us less inclined to know exact numbers. I'll have to ask him what he thinks I weigh, I can see it being totally off. He's definitely picked up clothing for me that's several sizes larger than what I actually wear. Approximate ht/wt: Me- 5'5 115 lbs, Him- 6'2 175 lbs
Part of not having "weight issues" is to periodically weigh yourself. My wife has a lower bmi than you but she still weighs herself once every week or so just to make sure it stays that way. I'm not overweight but I still weigh myself every few days and complain about it to her. In my experience is usually fatter people that do not know their weight. Have you ever seen my 600 pound life where they're like, "and one day I suddenly got on the scale and had gained 235 pounds"?

Anonymous wrote:Is this a thing? There's a couple we met recently who seemed very nice but then the conversation got on a weird tangent about preparing for a 10K road race out West.[u] The husband was telling us about his wife's training regimen and told us that "she's 5'7" and a buck-oh-five" which seemed strange and pretty controlling. Is this typical for spouses to be aware of actual numbers on the scale if there aren't medical issues?

It's weird as hell that he says it in public though. That's just bragging.
It's not the same as knowing your kids' weight. Are people this naive?
Naive about what? Why wouldn't you share your weight? Hell it's on my driver's license even. Do you think that you're hiding something by not sharing your weight? People DO have eyes after all.
