If they match with Burroughs on Round 1 of the lottery, they can get an aftercare spot--it's first come, first served. The scenario they're worried about is 1) they match with Langdon, enroll, and get an aftercare spot, but then 2) Burroughs makes them a wait list offer but says there are no aftercare spots left. They could simply decline Burroughs and keep their enrollment at Langdon. They would NOT have to re-add Langdon in that scenario.

You’d only lose your spot at Langdon if you enroll at another school and withdraw at Langdon. If it’s just an offer, you can decline.
