I was surprised that my 7 year old didn't suggest a trip to China or Italy in order to be quarantined once the school said that anyone coming from an infected location should self quarantine.

So your preschooler is a normal preschooler. You make them wash their hands and you assume that the other preschoolers are among the billions of people on the planet that are not infected.
