Goodness, so tell him that Latin and Hispanic are two different things. Brazilians speak Portuguese, not Spanish. Therefore, Brazilians are not Hispanic.

They are on a different track...most probably already know if they gotten in already since schools normally email indications in Dec to allow for those that don’t get in enough time to scramble for a spot elsewhere.

No, that’s an advantage. A hook is a condition or trait that puts the application in an entirely different bucket.

URM, legacy, athletes (at certain schools). Big development cases. Like, really big, not merely full pay law partners.

When high schools take the same number of kids every year from certain k-8 schools, I would call that a different bucket.
