Look up child abuse from centers, even with cameras they still do it

Many Family Child Care Providers are Preschool Teachers, and most of them are small pre K familychildcare home, which would be good for kids with disabilities, sensory issues or delays, most kids don't get enough attention from centers.

Centers are so crowded and not enough staff for so many kids. 1 teacher can't be with 10 kids with age of 2 years old, insane

Yep. It has a daycare vibe now. The staff quality has gone down.

More like your persona has negative vibes...does your breath stink too?

Family Daycares, Family Child Care homes, they help the community.

Go buy lunch to some person who is homeless, go be productive or something

Are the "new head of school is a terrible person" people just trying to lower the number of applications? Because if you look at the website during Jim and post Jim (this stuff would def feed his ego, btw), most of the same teachers and staff are there. We're about to do SFF v.2.0 through a family member whose child will be attending, and honestly the lowered expectations as to fundraising and volunteering sound great, bc everyone we have talked to says it's much less parent heavy than before. I am thinking, though, that a lot of places are expecting less from parents, post-covid, for many reasons. But truly, for the 2.5 yos and up, most of the staff is the same as they were in 2012-2016 when we were there the first time.

Go away, anti-daycare troll.

I’m not anti daycare. But the program was excellent under Jim Clay and under the new administration it’s gone downhill. Sorry. Saying it’s a great school doesn’t make it so. You have to hire excellent, degreed teachers with deep experience in early childhood education, anti bias curriculum, project based and play based learning, and have a strong curriculum and lots of professional development. Jim did that. I do not see that anymore.

Um, the "new head" has been there more than 6 years. Stop coming on here and wishing Jim would come back.

Also the new head has a reputation for being terrible administrator. There is high teacher turnover and families arw leaving. Ask around and talknto current parents!
