Well, that's putting it nicely.

If you want to slam a school why not just say what you mean instead of this passive aggresive BS?

Long drive on congested freeways. Did you rent a car?. I bet you came in on Jet Blue. I thought the neighbors got traffic at that airport shut down or minimized. Anyhow, this is why we didn't even go look at the Claremont college. I'm a Californian and applied long ago and got in to both Scripps and Pomona but went to Stanford. A relative went to Scripps. I would never return to SoCal due to the traffic. The Claremont colleges are lovely but just too far away from any airport.

I find it hard to believe that a teenager bases their college decision on proximity to the airport.

30 or 40, but it was around 10 or 11 at night, and we did Pool.

I would try to fly into Ontario or rent a car from LAX. LYFT'ing from LAX to Claremont won't be cheap - I guess worth no traffic headache if you plan to stay out there and not see LA at all while you're there.

My SIL went to Scripps, my BIL went to Harvey Mudd (that's where they met). They loved it FWIW.

Check LAX via FlyAway bus to LA Union station and from there a metro link to near the Pomona campus.

I find California drivers better than DC area drivers.

Oh my! Californian here. From DC originally. California drivers at bat shit crazy. Just saying. 65 is the legal speed limit. But if you dare go as slow as 80mph, people will be on your ass. sorry for language.

I'm a Californian too. Horrible drivers. Much worse than DC. Once upon a time it was a pleasant place to drive.

There probably aren't any. Ontario is a small airport
