Anyhow, this is why we didn't even go look at the Claremont college. I'm a Californian and applied long ago and got in to both Scripps and Pomona but went to Stanford. A relative went to Scripps. I would never return to SoCal due to the traffic. The Claremont colleges are lovely but just too far away from any airport.
I find it hard to believe that a teenager bases their college decision on proximity to the airport.
